Welcome to all the 2nd year Advanced students at the EOI Pontevedra, A Estrada section, Valle-Inclán section and Lalín section.

This blog has been designed with the aim of complementing your lessons with extra material we'd like to use in the classroom but we can't due to lack of time. So it will be a kind of self-study room for you.

You can practise listening, reading and writing, as well as meeting new people who are at your same level and school.

So don't be lazy or shy. Make comments and enjoy... because English is FUNtastic, isn't it?

HOW TO WRITE A FORMAL LETTER



You’ve already written formal letters in the last few years. Do you do it well? Do you know one of the writing tasks in the final exam is a letter or e-mail? ;)

Just in case, why not visit the following sites?



General tips on how to write a formal letter: layout, rules, content, abbreviations, etc.
Travel plans + seeking employment: samples on how to request information, offering a house exchange, booking a campsite, making enquiries + applying for a job.
