Welcome to all the 2nd year Advanced students at the EOI Pontevedra, A Estrada section, Valle-Inclán section and Lalín section.
This blog has been designed with the aim of complementing your lessons with extra material we'd like to use in the classroom but we can't due to lack of time. So it will be a kind of self-study room for you.
You can practise listening, reading and writing, as well as meeting new people who are at your same level and school.
So don't be lazy or shy. Make comments and enjoy... because English is FUNtastic, isn't it?
It´s very funny
ReplyDeleteWho have not a phobia? If you don’t think so, you should check this list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_phobias). Some of them may be more common than people think. I’m sure you’ve heard of arachnophobia or agoraphobia but, have you ever heard of workplace phobia or dentophobia? I think most of us have a little one and there’s no need to worry (if it doesn’t go further than some limits). Anyway, do you consider a phobia, for instance, can’t stand fixing the volume control of your car radio in level 13?
ReplyDeleteWho DOESN'T HAVE a phobia? ;)
DeleteMmmm, Some of them are really peculiar, but the last one you mention -the volume control in level 13- must be related with superstition as well, don't you think?
We shouldn´t have any phobia but most of us have it. My worst phobia is swimming in a dark and deep river or sea. Suddenly, all big monsters appears in my mind. What a stupid thing!!.
ReplyDelete"All big monsters APPEAR..." ;)
DeleteIt's not a stupid thing at all!
Can you swim well? If not, or if you do it in an unconfident way, maybe you fear you're going to drown.
But this is just my amateur psychological diagnosis, haha!
